The Sleeping Beauty Residency project space was created to offer a place for artists interested in the rhythm of time and movement in it. The residency at the Sleeping Beauty Castle provides various artists (and artistic groups) with a place for creative process as well as for the public showing of the results of their work process and the creative period. The public showings accompanied by discussions aim at bringing the Castle’s residents and their works closer to the audiences, and creating a dynamic art centre for creative explorations where the atmosphere and happenings welcome both the artist and its guests with a cosy environment.

Application is open for 2 people in collaboration.

We offer :

Free of charge use up to 8 weeks of the Sleeping Beauty Castle halls with all its technical equipment

Supervision (if requested)

Accommodation in locals artists apartement with kitchen+ cost of international travelling and per diem

Administration support: assistance in communication and marketing of the public showing to the local audience

Creative grant in amount of 1000 per person

Free entrance to all STÜ events (performances) happening at the residency period

We expect from the resident :

Self-motivation

Clear interest in Sleeping Beauty Castle Residency program and personal objectives for the residency period

Public presentation of the creative process in the form of a public showing, discussion, workshop, or other in a part of „GreenFieldile“ event

Responsible attitude
