Aabenraa Artweek is a non-profit initiative by the artists Markus Johannes Herschbach,Gabriele Beismann, Anne Lildholdt Jensen and Martin Lundgren Jensen, backed by e.g. Aabenraa Kommune and the Danish Arts Council.

We strive to bring contemporary art to Aabenraa, wishing to create an international work platform every second year in July/August.
We invite you to work in chosen town spaces in and around Aabenraa Kommune and Flensburg, Germany, from August 1 through August 11, 2013.
We would like to see reproducible suggestions, concepts, and/of sketches of your work proposals, and you must provide this by  April 2, 2013 in order to come into consideration.
