Pavilion Dance South West (Bournemouth, Reino Unido) is searching for a Head of Creative Programmers. This role is a new post for the organisation and will be part of the leadership team, with strategic development responsibilities.
Essential Experience, knowledge and skills
- A thorough knowledge of the regional and national dance infrastructure
- Experience of programming and/or creative production
- Experience of youth, education and community arts participation
- Entrepreneurial flair and the proven ability to generate new creative ideas that and successfully realise them
- A good understanding of the issues affecting artist training, professional development and contemporary practice
- A strong and articulate appreciation of the wider social and political context within which dance operates and of cross cutting agendas such as health, youth dance and education
- Experience of complex project management including working with diverse teams and in multiple partnerships and evidence of a deep and thoughtful understanding of what constitutes good partnership working
- Strong IT skills
- Experience of devising and controlling budgets
- Demonstrable experience of successful fundraising resulting in strong and sustained projects
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills

Salary range: £32,000 – £38,000
Terms: Full time permanent contract . Probationary period: 6 months. Notice period: 3 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
