The International Art Festival, Inc., Fine Art Magazine and the Museum of Russian Art (MoRA) are calling for artists to enter the 2012 International Art Festival Competition. Go to competition page HERE The submission deadline is April 30, 2012.
This juried competition, which aims to identify and recognize outstanding contemporary artists, is open to persons 18 or older. Paintings, graphic works (illustrations, drawings, etc.), and photographs may be entered for consideration. No sculpture, installations or videos will be accepted.
The works will be judged by a high-level panel of practicing artists and art world professionals affiliated with IAF, FAM, and MoRA.
The top three choices of the jury will each be awarded a $1,000 cash prize, publication in Fine Art Magazine and a solo exhibition at MORA. The inaugural International Art Festival award exhibition, featuring a selection of the best works submitted in each category, will take place at the Museum of Russian Art in Jersey City, NJ.

Jurors will select 20 works for each of three curated mixed media exhibitions at the Museum of Russian Art. Each exhibition will be the subject of both a printed and an online catalogue. The exhibition titles will be based on the works received, but will be general enough to suit a variety of work. Abstract, representational and satiric works will all be considered.

Entries must be submitted online. The entry fee is $25 until March 15, 2012, and $35 thereafter. The entry fee covers up to 3 items, and there is a fee of $5 for each additional work. Artists can submit up to 10 works.

● All artists will receive an online certificate of participation from MoRA.
● The top 50 artists from each category will receive a certificate of recognition.
● The top 20 works from each category will be exhibited in MoRA.
● The work of the three winners will be permanently displayed on MoRA’s website.

This is the inaugural project of the International Art Festival. We are building a world-class organization to identify, support and promote the work of outstanding contemporary artists.
